The Volvo S60 Polestar has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 52.5 lakh ex showroom Delhi.

The Volvo S60 Polestar features a 2.0 litre four cylinder supercharged and turbocharged petrol engine that develops 367 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox. Additionally it gets a stiffer suspension set up, larger air intake, bigger turbo and a higher capacity fuel pump. Volvo claims a 0 to 100 timing of 4.7 seconds and the car has a limited top speed of 250 kph. The updated car is 15 kg lighter and reducing load on the front axle has helped in improving weight distribution. The car features a Polestar specific four wheel drive system.

On the exterior it features a new body kit, aggressively styled bumpers and 20 inch alloy wheels. The interior gets sports seats, leather upholstery, Polestar sports steering wheel, a unique gear knob and carbon fibre trims.

The S60 Polestar gets radar based safety features, adaptive cruise control, collision warning with auto braking, Blind-spot detection with Cross Traffic AlertCity SafetyPark Pilot Assist. Additionally it gets seat-belt pre-tensioners, Side Impact protection and Whiplash protection.

The Volvo S60 Polestar rivals the Mercedes-AMG C43 in the Indian market.
