The Volkswagen T-Roc SUV has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 19.99 lakh ex showroom. The T-Roc will be available in a single fully loaded variant and will be sold as a CBU. Deliveries will begin mid April 2020.
Features of the Volkswagen T-Roc include the Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster, 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring Android Auto and Apple Carplay, LED headlamps and tail-lamps, dual-tone alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, Vienna leather seats and panoramic sunroof.
The Volkswagen T-Roc will be available with a single engine option. It is powered by a 1.5 litre TSI petrol engine developing 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.The engine comes with cylinder deactivation and comes mated to a 7 speed DSG gearbox.
Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a parking camera.
The Volkswagen T-Roc is offered in five dual-tone colour options – Curcuma Yellow, Energetic Orange, Indium Grey, Ravenna Blue and Pure White, all with a black roof. It also comes in a single tone Deep Black Pearl option.
Rivals to the Volkswagen T-Roc include the Jeep Compass and the soon to launch Skoda Karoq.
