Tata Motors recently celebrated the 10,000 unit sales milestone for its Harrier SUV. To commemorate this event, it has introduced a dual-tone colour scheme for the top of the line XZ variant.
The dual-tone colour scheme is available in the Calisto Copper and the Orcus White paints and comprises of contrast coloured black roof as a part of the package. The black roof is underlined by a sleek chrome strip that ends into a boating paddle-like shape towards the D pillar and looks particularly lovely on the Orcus White paint scheme where it breaks the somewhat monotonous colour scheme elegantly, thereby imparting a premium appeal to the car.
The Harrier is the harbinger of a design revolution at Tata and a pioneer of sorts in the new split headlamp styling that has found following in products from several other manufacturers.
The Harrier is built on Land Rover’s D8 platform and is powered by a 2L Kryotec diesel engine. It retails at a starting price of Rs. 12.99 lakh and the versions sporting the dual-tone paint scheme will sell at Rs. 16.76 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
