Tata Curvv Interior
Gets inside and the you notice that the dashboard and overall design is from the updated Nexon. However this burgundy trim and upholstery gives the interior a very premium feel altogether. On the flip side, fit and finish on some bits could have been better. The steering wheel is something you have seen in the Harrier and Safari facelifts. Feels nice to hold too. But that horn pad is a finger print magnet. The instrument cluster is fully digital which can double up as a navigation display. I quite like the 12.3 inch infotainment screen. The graphics are crisp and the system is easy to navigate as well. The climate control is also a piano finish black touch panel, again a finger print magnet. At times it does require you to take your eyes off the road to operate it and that can be an issue. The rest of the feature list includes a panoramic sunroof, ambient lights, a superb sounding JBL audio system, 360 degree camera, voice commands and air purifier. There is also a new key fob. The Curvv also gets Level 2 ADAS features and connected car tech via Tata’s IRA app.
The front seats are comfortable and can be adjusted in six ways. The driver’s seat also gets electric adjust. Both front seats get the ventilation function. The rear seats get a reclining back rest and while that offers good comfort, headroom is still less if you are a tall passenger due to the sloping roofline. Legroom and kneeroom however is pretty good. The Curvv gets a first in segment gesture operated tail gate and gets massive 500 litre boot space. It also gets a full size spare wheel.
