We have confirmed news through our sources that the Audi A5 Cabriolet is set for launch in India in the next couple of months, most likely an October launch. The new model will be sold as a fully imported CBU and will join the A3 Cabriolet in the Audi India model line up.
Audi A5 Cabriolet Engine
The India spec A5 Cabriolet will come with a 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine developing 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The engine will most likely be mated to an S-tronic automatic gearbox and the car will come with Audi’s quattro all wheel drive system.
Audi A5 Cabriolet Exterior
The A5 Cabriolet will come with an acoustic soft top that can be opened in 15 seconds and closed in 18 seconds at speeds upto 50 kph. The top will come in a choice of four colours: black, grey brown or red.
Being a CBU, the A5 drop top will come with a host of standard features. On the exterior, the car will feature LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, Audi signature front grille, LED daytime running lamps and 18 inch alloy wheels.
Audi A5 Cabriolet Interior
Inside the cabin, the A5 Cabriolet will feature a three spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, electrically adjustable front seats, three zone climate control, Audi Virtual cockpit, MMI infotainment system with navigation, smartphone connectivity, Parking Aid Plus along with a rear view camera.
The Audi A5 Cabriolet is expected to be priced from Rs. 65 lakh ex showroom.
