P V Sindhu the ace shuttler from Hyderabad who did the country proud by winning the silver medal at the recently concluded Olympic Games at Rio is all set to get a set of hot wheels. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar will be gifting a spanking new BMW to Sindhu on August 28th.
Tendulkar had earlier gifted Saina Nehwal a BMW four years ago when she won a bronze medal at the London Olympics in 2012. At the same time he had gifted a Maruti Swift to Sindhu, who had won the girls’ singles title in the Asian Youth Under-19 Championship the same year.
The BMW that Sachin is set to gift is being sponsored by Tendulkar’s close friend and former cricketer V Chamundeswaranath. 
“Tendulkar will visit Hyderabad on August 28 to gift the car to Sindhu. We will decide on the schedule and venue for the event shortly,” said Chamundeswaranath president of Hyderabad Badminton Association of India.
