The interiors of the Gallardo have already been reviewed earlier when I drove the LP550-2. So here I will focus only on what is unique to the Super Trofeo Stradale. You notice the differences as soon as you open the door. The inside door pads are complete carbon fibre with a leather strap taking the place of the regular door handle. There is no difference in the dashboard of the STS and the standard Gallardo. But instead of leather, Lamborghini has a used a combination of red and black Alcantara for the upholstery in the STS. The bottom half of the dashboard is draped with red while the top half takes the black Alcantara with red stitching. The steering wheel is gets black suede with red stitching. The steering really feels awesome to touch. To complete the racing experience, Lamborghini equips the Stradale with monocoque racing seats which also get the black and red Alcantara treatment. Seat adjustment for reach is manual and no recline since they are racing seats.The STS logo is etched on the dashboard and the seats. The centre console and the hand brake frame are also made of carbon fibre. In fact on request many other elements of the interior can be ordered in carbon fibre too. A fire extinguisher finds a place behind the seats.
