Porsche has taken the wraps off the Macan GTS. This variant of the baby SUV will sit between the S and the Turbo versions of the car.
Power comes from the ‘S’ sourced 3.0 twin turbo V6 petrol engine that puts out 355 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 500 Nm of max torque coming between 1,650 to 4,000 rpm. With the PDK gearbox and Porsche’s Traction Management system, the Macan GTS goes from 0 to 100 kph in 5.2 seconds, going down to 5 seconds if it is equipped with the Sport Chrono package. Top speed is 257 kph.Porsche’s Stability Management system is also recalibrated, and when combined with the Sport Chrono package, it provides an even more dynamic driving experience. Large 360 mm front rotors, with six-piston fixed calipers finished in red, and 330 mm rear rotors, with single-piston calipers also painted in red, provide the braking force needed for performance use and assist with torque vectoring, via Porsche’s optional Torque Vectoring system (PTV). Air suspension, including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is a standard feature on the Macan GTS.
On the exterior it gets a lot of black trims and 20″ RS Spyder Design wheels finished in Satin Black.
