Porsche India organised a track day for its customers at the Buddh International Circuit so that they could experience the true potential of the sports cars from Stuttgart.
The Porsche range at the 5.14 km F1 track included the 718 Cayman, 718 Boxster, 911 and Panamera. The challenges and courses laid out for participants to try out included slalom, breaking, acceleration, and over and under-steering challenges.
The 718 twins feature a 2.0 litre turbo charged four cylinder engine that develops 300 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. They do the 0 to 100 kph sprint in 4.9 seconds (4.7 with Sport Plus) and a top speed of 275 kph.
The 911 Carrera S features a 3.0 litre six cylinder twin turbo motor putting out 420 horses and 500 Nm of torque. 0 to 100 kph comes up 4.1 seconds (3.9 with Sport Plus) and a top speed of 306 kph. The Panamera Turbo gets a V8 turbo engine putting out 550 horsepower and 770 Nm of pulling power. It does 0 to 100 kph in just 3.8 seconds (3.6 with Sport Plus) and a top speed of 306 kph.
