The Porsche Cayenne Coupe has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 1.31 crore. The Cayenne Coupe will be sold in India as a CBU.
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe isnt that different in terms of styling when compared to its SUV sibling. The face is identical and you get LED headlamps along with the signature 4 point daytime running LEDs as well. What sets is apart are the 20 inch alloy wheels and the steeply raked roofline that gives it a coupe styling. The Cayenne Coupe is wider by 18 mm at the rear and also has a wider track. The rear seat is also lowered for better headroom.
On the interior, the dashboard layout of the Cayenne Coupe is similar to that of the SUV. You get a 7 inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3 inch touch screen for the infotainment system, four zone climate control, three spoke steering wheel, Alcantara upholstery and a fixed panoramic glass roof. Boot space is down to 598 litres from 745 litres in the Cayenne.
The Cayenne Coupe comes with a 3.0 V6 turbo petrol engine that puts out 340 hp and 450 Nm torque and the Cayenne Turbo Coupe gets a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 petrol putting out 550 hp and 770 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox.
Also featured on the Porsche Cayenne Coupe is a fixed roof spoiler is combined with the new adaptive rear spoiler as part of Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA). The spoiler is integrated into the vehicle silhouette and extends by 135 millimetres at speeds of 90 km/h and above.
Safety features include eight airbags, Isofix child-seat mounts, ABS with EBD, and brake assist, traction control, electronic stability control, hill-start and hill-descent assist.
