Kia Motors India has revealed the official rendering of the upcoming Kia Sonet compact SUV. The Sonet concept was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020 in Delhi earlier this year.
The rendering reveals the trademark Kia tiger nose grille with 3D stepwell’ geometric grille mesh. There is also a clamshell bonnet with the Kia logo in the centre along with aggressively styled bumpers. It also reveals a muscular shoulder line and silver roof rails.
The Kia Sonet is expected to come with a 1.2 litre petrol, 1.5 litre diesel and 1.0 Turbo petrol engine options. Transmission options could include Intelligent Manual Transmission (IMT), a 6 speed manual and a 7 speed DCT.
The Kia Sonet will have its global premiere on 7th August 2020, followed by the official launch later in the year. The Kia Sonet is expected to be priced between Rs. 7 to 12 lakh ex showroom.
