Nissan’s performance arm, Nismo has made its debut in the Middle East by unveiling the Patrol Nismo in Dubai. The Nissan Patrol is a cult SUV among buyers in the Gulf.
The Patrol Nismo is powered by a 5.5 litre V8 petrol engine that pumps out 428 horsepower, 28 more than the stock machine. The motor also gets a Takumi engine tune, Nismo-tuned Bilstein suspension, sport tuned power steering and 22 inch RAYS forged alloy wheels.
Samir Cherfan, Managing Director of Nissan Middle East, said “We could not have launched NISMO in the region without including our most iconic model, the Nissan Patrol, in the range of NISMO vehicles. Bringing the high performance brand to the Middle East and launching the Patrol NISMO as a world premiere model is proof of our commitment to making thrilling driving experiences accessible to all our customers.”
Nissan is currently evaluating the Patrol for launch in India. It was showcased earlier this year at the Buddh International Circuit.
