Nissan India has now finally entered the rather crowded sub-4-metre SUV segment. Their latest launch, the Magnite is here and it comes at a rather attractive price point. Prices of the car start from INR 4.99 Lakh and go all the way till INR 9.35 Lakh. Here are the ex-showroom prices of the various variants of the car, do have a look. These introductory prices will go up from 1st of January, 2021.

In the top spec XV and XV premium trim levels, Nissan will also offer an additional Tech Pack which fills the car with some additional features. These features include a wireless phone charger, air purifier, ambient lighting, puddle lamp and JBL speakers.
Talking about features, the Nissan Magnite comes loaded to the brim. With the top-spec XV Premium variant, Nissan offers a host of features. This includes a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a digital instrument console, an 8-inch touch-operated infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and some more.
That said, even in its base, XE spec, Nissan has given a decent amount of loadings. For instance, even the base spec comes with a rear washer and wiper, along with a defogger. This is a feature that can not be seen in some higher variants of the competitors. Additionally, safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminders for the front row all come as standard equipment.
The Nissan Magnite will come with two engine options. There is a 1-litre, naturally aspirated motor and a 1-litre turbocharged petrol motor. Nissan will not offer a diesel powerplant with this car. The naturally aspirated, 999 cc, three-cylinder petrol motor is tuned to offer 72 PS of peak power and 96 Nm of twist. This engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.
The turbocharged, 999 cc, three cylinder petrol motor, on the other hand, has been tuned to offer 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of twist. This engine will come mated with a 5-speed manual as standard but customers can also opt for a CVT type automatic.
