Nissan has unveiled the Magnite compact SUV concept for the Indian market. The Magnite will go on sale in the financial year 2020. Magnite is a portmanteau of the words “magnetic” and “ignite”.
The Magnite will have a sub four metre length. The concept reveals a very aggressive stance with a large Datsun style front grille flanked by slim LED headlamps. The bumpers are sporty and feature skid plates at both, the front and rear. It gets body cladding on the wheel arches and large alloy wheels. There is a black contrast roof and LED tail lamps along with chrome door handles.
As far as equipment is concerned, the Magnite is set o come with cruise control, 360 degree camera, 8 inch touchscreen and connected car technology.
The Magnite will be made in India and exported to other markets across the world. In India it will rival the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and the Ford Ecopsport.
