Nissan has announced that it will launch an all new compact SUV in India in 2020. The new model is expected to launch towards the end of the year and revealed a teaser image today.

From the teaser, the new SUV seems to have a length of under four metres and styling seems similar to the Nissan Kicks crossover. There appears to be a floating roof design and is expected have the same under pinnings as the upcoming Renault compact SUV.

The new compact SUV is expected to be powered by a 1.0 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine mated to a manual or AMT gearbox.

Once launched the new Nissan compact SUV will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and the Hyundai Venue.
