The Nissan Kicks SUV has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 9.55 lakh going upto Rs. 14.65 lakh (ex showroom Delhi) for the range topping diesel variant.
The Nissan Kicks will be sold in four variants: XL, XV, XV Pre and XV Pre (O). All variants including the entry level XL come loaded with lots of features. It comes with auto climate control, six way adjust for the driver’s seat, power door mirrors with turn indicators, all power windows, rear AC vents, four speaker sound system with Bluetooth, Aux and USB. The top end XV Pre (O) gets features such as a segment first 360 degree camera, 8 inch touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a telematics-enabled smartwatch, contrast roof, LED headlamps, cruise control, keyless go, auto headlamps and wipers.
The Nissan Kicks is powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine that develops 106 horsepower and 142 Nm torque and a 1.5 litre diesel engine producing 110 horses and 240 Nm. The petrol engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox while the diesel gets a 6 speed manual.
Standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and rear windshield defogger. The top end model gets four airbags in total, rear fog lamps and hill start assist.
The Nissan Kicks comes with a standard 3 year warranty, 3 year – 24/7 roadside assistance, 3 years service and maintenance at no extra cost. Nissan is also offering a subscription package for those who dont want to buy the car, priced at Rs. 11 per km.
