New Pagani Huayra BC unveiled
Italian super car maker Pagani has unveiled the new Huayra BC and we feel it looks insane to say the least.
A 6.0 litre twin turbo V12 engine pumps out 789 horsepower, 60 more than the standard Huayra and insane 1099 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a new Xtrac sourced seven speed AMT gearbox and power is sent to the rear wheels. The new gearbox features reworked electro-hydraulic actuation as well as carbon fiber synchronisers. Gear shifts now happen in just 75 milliseconds.
Pagani has used new composite material in the construction of the Huayra BC. This material is 50 percent lighter and 20 percent stronger than carbon fibre claims the company. The car tips the scales at just 1,350 kg.Other weight saving elements include a titanium exhaust, new lighter Brembo brakes and forged light alloy wheels. Aerodynamic features include a front spitter, side skirts, large rear spoiler and diffuser. The interior gets new sports seats and carbon fibre, aluminium and Alcantara bits. The rest of the cabin is similar to the standard car.
The name BC comes from Benny Caiola, who was Pagani’s first customer and a friend of Horacio Pagani. Only 20 units of this car will be made and all units have been already sold out.
