Maruti has teased the next generation Swift Dzire with an official sketch ahead of its global launch in India in May 2017.

The next gen Dzire will be produced at Maruti’s Manesar plant in Haryana. It is also expected to be made at Maruti’s new plant in Becharaji, Gujarat. Parent compay Suzuki has invested 2,500 crore on the new Dzire project.

Many spy shots of the new Dzire are already doing rounds online. They reveal a fresh look and the car will be based on Suzuki’s new global compact car platform. The interior feature a new dashboard along with new seats, instrument cluster etc.

The existing Dzire is expected to be renamed as the Dzire Tour and will continue to be produced for the taxi and fleet market.
