Honda has taken the wraps off the all new second generation Brio hatchback at the GIIAS 2018 in Jakarta. This is the first set of images of the new car. Honda has revealed two variant: the standard and the RS.
The new Brio gets styling similar to the Small RS concept that was showcased at the 2018 Indonesia International Motor Show. Upfront the new Brio does look quite similar to the new Amaze sedan that is available in India. There are some visual connections to the first gen car as well. There are new front and rear bumpers too and the new model gets a conventional tailgate unlike glass hatch of the older model.
The interiors are similar to the current gen Hondas like the Jazz in India. While the standard model gets a 2 din music system, the RS gets a 6.1 inch touch screen infotainment system along with prominent highlights around the AC vents and on the dashboard.
Honda has still not decided on an India launch for the new Brio, reason being the first gen car did not sell in great numbers. We do hope it reaches Indian shores though, because the new Brio is definitely more improved and looks like a great all round package.
