Mercedes S-Class facelift spied inside out
The Mercedes S-Class facelift has been spied inside out in a new series of spy pictures.
The updated model gets redesigned headlights and a new front bumper. The side profile of the car remains unchanged. Moving on, there is a new rear bumper and redone dual exhaust system.
There are some changes to the interior as well. There is a new three spoke steering wheel and an revised centre console along with a touch pad controller. The buttons between the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system have been deleted to give a much better look to the displays. Engines are expected to carry over from the existing model but a new range of inline six cylinder motors could be offered. These engines were originally speculated to be introduced in the new E-Class first but they could find their way in the company’s flagship model first.
The Mercedes S-Class facelift is expected to be unveiled early next year at the North American International Auto Show or the Geneva Motor Show. An Indian debut could happen end 2017. The Mercedes S-Class rivals the BMW 7 Series, Audi A8 and Jaguar XJ.
