The Mercedes GLC Celebration Edition has been launched at Rs 50.86 lakh for the GLC 220d and Rs 51.25 lakh for the GLC 300 (ex showroom all India). This special edition GLC has been launched to celebrate 70 years of India’s Independence.
Mercedes GLC Celebration Edition features
The Mercedes GLC ‘Celebration Edition gets a new Designo hyacinth red shade that will also be offered as a paid option for the GLC models now onwards. The ORVMs get LED logo projectors that project the three pointed star on the ground when you open the door, mirror housings in gloss black, sporty pedals, Garmin Map Pilot SD card system, chrome trims up front and a chrome strip at the rear.
Mechanically, the GLC remains unchanged. The GLC220d is powered by a 2.1 litre diesel engine that develops 170 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, and the GLC300 is powered by a 2.0 four cylinder petrol engine putting out 245 horsepower and 370 Nm torque. Both engines are mated to a nine speed automatic gearbox.
