The compact size of the Mercedes EQA makes it easy to drive around and you can push through gaps that become available at times.
Mercedes EQA 250+ Interior
Step inside the EQA and you are welcomed with the familiar design language that the new Mercedes cars features. There are two 10.25 inch touch screens, sporty flat bottom steering wheel and turbine AC vents that are finished in gold. Two highlights unique to the EQA is the passenger side dashboard that gets stars and the seat fabric which is combined with artificial leather is made from recycled plastic pet bottles. The EQA is loaded with lots of features like a large panoramic sunroof, a superb sounding 710 W 3D Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, electric front seats with memory, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging and electric tailgate. Another highlight is that the inbuilt navigation comes with augmented reality. This means it shows you real time directions on the front camera while you drive.
The front seats are on the firmer side and not outright comfy that you generally expect from a Mercedes. Rear seat comfort is also compromised due to the low seat base and you end up sitting in a knee up position. You do get a centre armrest in the EQA, something that’s missing in the GLA. Boot space is at 350 litres and you don’t get a spare wheel. You get a puncture repair kit instead. The rear seats fall in a 60:40 split.
