The Auto Expo 2018 has seen a slew of electric concepts and Mercedes-Benz displayed the Concept EQ that gives a peek into the electric future of the German luxury car maker.

EQ is the sub brand for Mercedes’ electric division and this concept showcases an electric powered SUV. Power comes from two electric motors, one on the front axle and one at the rear. These two motors develop a combined 300 KW of power and a range of up to 500 km. On the exterior the Concept Eq gets cameras instead of rear view mirrors, a illuminated blue line that runs across the front fascia, contrast bonnet and large chrome alloy wheels. The interior features a 24 inch wide touch screen and car to X technology as well. This tech uses exchange of info between vehicles using radio frequencies and there are features such as pedestrian detection, blind spot detection as well.
