Mercedes Benz India has recorded sales of 13, 786 units in 2019. The car maker recorded its highest ever Q4 selling 3871 units, thus registering a 3.3% y-o-y growth for Q4, and was able to achieve sales growth. Despite the industry slowdown, Mercedes-Benz India sales volumes in Q4 also grew by 15.41% from Q3 2019.
The AMG portfolio saw a growth of 54% in the Jan to Dec 2019 period as compared to 2018. The long wheelbase E-Class was also the highest selling model for the three pointed star in 2019. Mercedes-Benz launch three new models in Q4 2019, the G350d, V-Class Elite and the GLC facelift with the new MBUX infotainment system.
Bookings for the new GLE SUV have opened and market launch will take place on January 28, 2020. New generation models of the CLA, GLA and GLS will be available in India from Q2 2020 onwards.
Mercedes-Benz India ha also made the complete transition to BS VI compliant petrol and diesel engines.
