Mercedes-Benz India has launched two service initiatives to increase convenience for customers. The new initiatives are ‘Digital Service Drive (DSD) Next’ and ‘Pay at your convenience’.
The ‘Digital Service Drive (DSD) Next’ is a service initiative is aimed at helping customers to co-ordinate their vehicle service from the comfort of their homes. The customer receives a ‘Service Web Check-In Pass’ for each service, giving them the convenience to select their service preferences : date, time, pick-up and drop-off location, real-time service status update as well as real-time tracking of the car during pick and drop-off, downloading service documents pay the service bills online. Service updates can also be received on WhatsApp.
The ‘Pay at your convenience’ is an initiative that will allow customers to pay for services with the flexibility of various finance plans. These plans are executed via various credit card based EMI schemes with a tenure of up to 12 months, a zero-cost EMI option for three months and a one-swipe EMI easy payment option for both, preventive maintenance and general repairs. The facility is currently available with credit cards from more than 13 banks.
Mercedes-Benz recently launched the new GLS SUV in India and upcoming launches include the EQC Electric SUV, A-Class Limousine and the new GLA.
