Mercedes-Benz calls the GLB a baby GLS and I can see why. A first glance and it surely gives you the GLS vibes.

As far as charging goes, the EQB can be charged from 10 to 80 percent on a DC fast charger in 32 minutes. The EQB can be charged on a 100kW DC fast charger A 11 kW AC charger will charge from 10 to 100 percent in 6.25 hours. Mercedes will be providing a free wall box charger with every EQB SUV.

Mercedes-Benz GLB & EQB Verdict

Both EQB and GLB are great to look at, come loaded with a host of features and are luxurious. They also offer fun to drive behind the wheel experience even though they are different from each other when it comes to character. They may not be true seven seaters but will still appeal to those who like to travel long distances with family and pets. They do offer a lot of flexibility. But both coming in as CBUs mean that they will be expensive. I expect the EQB to come at a little lower price than the EQC while the GLB could be pricier than the now sold out GLC. Still, the Mercedes GLB and the EQB are unique in their own way and have a lot to offer. They both give more choice to the luxury SUV buyer. Plus the EQB is the only EV in its segment. Which one would you pick?
