Mercedes-Benz ‘Edition E’ launched at Rs. 48.6 lakh
Mercedes-Benz has launched a special edition E-Class called the ‘Edition E’ to celebrate 20 years of the E-Class sedan in India.
The Edition E gets features like ‘Edition E’ badging, illuminated star on the front grille, Adaptive LED headlamps, black hub caps, new look fibre optic tail lights, panoramic sunroof, sport pedals, rear seat entertainment system Harman Kardon surround sound system with 610 Watts power and 14 speakers with Dolby Digital 5.1, 360 degree surround camera and Garmin navigation system.
The E-Class was the first Mercedes-Benz that was launched in India and was also the first luxury car to be locally manufactured in the country. Mercedes-Benz has sold 32,000 unit of the E-Class in India in the last 2 decades.
Mercedes-Benz has 12 product launches planned for this year. The company sold 13,502 units in 2015 which took them to No. 1 spot as India’s highest selling luxury car maker. The all new W213 E-Class is expected to launch in India next year.
