The Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe has launched in India at a price of Rs. 2.07 crore ex showroom. Mercedes-Benz India now has 12 AMG models in the India portfolio.
The Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S is powered by a 4.0 litre bi turbo V8 engine putting out 61 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Iy foes the 0 to 100 kph sprint in just 3.8 seconds and comes mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels via the 4Matic all wheel drive system.
The GLE63 S Coupe engine is also the first AMG V8 to feature a 48 volt EQ Boost hybrid system. The engine comes fitted with an integrated EQ Boost starter alternator. It combines a starter motor and an alternator in a single, powerful electric motor, compactly integrated between the engine and the transmission. The EQ Boost hybrid system produces an additional 22 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
On the exterior the GLE63 S Coupe features 22 inch alloy wheels, black air intakes, power domes on the bonnet, LED headlamps and tail lamps, black diffuser and AMG sports exhaust.
The interior gets AMG Nappa leather upholstery, AMH Sports seats, AMG flat bottom three spoke steering wheel, aluminium paddle shifters, digital instrument cluster, MBUX infotainment system etc. AMG carbon fibre elements can be ordered as an option.
Safety features include Airbags, Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, 3- stage Electronic Stability Program ESP, 4ETS dynamic handling control system and AMG electronic rear-axle limited-slip differential.
Service packages for the Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe are available from 2 to 10 years and start at Rs. 96,700 for two years. The Compact Plus package starts at Rs. 496,000 for 3 years/30,000 kms
