Maserati has taken the wraps off the Levante GTS at the 25th Goodwood Festival of Speed. THE GTS is the performance focussed variant of the SUV.
The Levante GTS is powered by a 3.9 litre twin turbo V8 petrol engine that also doesduty in the Quattroporte sedan. In the Levante GTS, this engine puts out 550 horsepower and 730 Nm of maximum torque. It features the Q4 Intelligent All-Wheel Drive System as standard. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in a claimed 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 292 kph. The engine is assembled at the Ferrari factor in Maranello.
The Levante GTS features sporty looking bumpers along with all LED headlamps and new design alloy wheels. The interior features full premium leather upholstery as standard or full-grain Pieno Fiore natural leather as an option. Other features sporty pedals and Harman Kardon sound system with 14 speakers.
Maserati is expected to launch the Levante GTS in India in the 4th quarter of 2018.
