Mahindra XUV300 bookings open
Mahindra has announced the opening of bookings for the XUV300 compact SUV across dealerships starting today. The XUV300 will be launched in the Indian market in February 2019.
The XUV300 is based on the X100 platform that also underpins the SsangYong Tivoli that is sold internationally. Liked its elder sibling, the XUV300 also gets inspiration from the cheetah. The headlamps and the fog lamps resemble a cheetah like tear duct and the wheel arches are inspired by the muscular haunches of the wild cat.
The XUV300 will come with class leading features like dual climate control, disc brakes on all four wheels, front parking sensors and 7 airbags. Other features include a large touch screen infotainment system and an electric sunroof. The top end variants will come with HID headlamps, LED tail lamps, LED daytime running lamps and 17 inch alloy wheels.
Powering the XUV300 will be a 1.2 litre petrol engine with 200 Nm torque and 1.5 litre diesel engine developing 300 Nm of torque.
The Mahindra XUV300 will be available in three variants, W4, W6, and W8. There will also be an option pack W8(O) variant with additional technology and safety features.
The Mahindra XUV300 will be built at the car maker’s Nashik plant.
