Locally assembled Jaguar XF launched at Rs. 47.50 lakh
The locally assembled Jaguar XF has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 47.50 lakh ex showroom Delhi.
The Jaguar XF comes with the brand new 2.0 litre four cylinder Ingenium diesel engine that develops 180 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque. T It goes from 0 to 100 kph in a claimed 8.1 seconds.
The new Jaguar XF also gets the 2.0 litre petrol engine that develops 240 horsepower and 340 Nm torque. This is the same engine that does duty in the XE ad goes from 0 to 100 kph in a claimed seven seconds.
Both engines are mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox that drives the rear wheels. Jaguar has also equipped the new XF with ‘Jaguar Drive Control’, which allows one to select between four driving modes – Standard, Eco, Dynamic or Rain/Ice/Snow.
On the interior, the new XF gets a new InControl Touch Infotainment system with a 10.2 screen. While the Pure and Prestige get the InControl Touch, the Portfolio gets the InControl Touch Pro system. There is a Bespoke 825W Meridian digital surround sound system with 17 speakers and there is a new 12.3 inch TFT instrument cluster. There is Mood Lighting with a choice of ten colours. Rear ‘knee-room’ has increased by 24 mm, and ‘leg-room’ has increased by 15 mm, making it more spacious than the previous car.
