Jaguar has begun local assembly of the F-Pace SUV at the the JLR plant in Pune. It becomes the sixth model in JLR India model line up to go the local assembly way and comes at a price of Rs 60.2 lakh ex showroom India.

The locally made F-Pace is available in the Prestige trim level. It comes powered a 2.0 litre four cylinder Ingenium turbo diesel engine developing 180 horsepower and 430 Nm torque. The engine is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox and comes with all wheel drive as standard.

Standard features include Adaptive LED Headlights, Activity Key, Wi-Fi Hotspot & Pro Services, 10.2 inch Touch Screen infotainment Rearar Recline Seats, Four-Zone Climate Control, 380 W Meridian Sound System and Configurable interior mood lighting (with 10 colours).

Locally assembly has dropped the price of the F-Pace by a massive 20 lakhs. Bookings are now open and deliveries are expected to begin by November end.
