The Lexus RC F is now available in India on order basis. The sports coupe is priced at a little above Rs. 2 crore ex showroom. Lexus recently made its official entry to India with three models: the ES300h sedan and the RX450h and LX450d SUVs. The RC F is the fourth model in the company’s India portfolio.

Lexus RC F Engine specifications

The Lexus RC F comes with a 5.0 litre V8 engine that develops 467 horsepower and 527 Nm of maximum torque that sends power to the rear wheels. It does the 0 to 100 kph sprint in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 270 kph. The engine is mated to an eight speed automatic gearbox. Gears can be changed manually via steering mounted paddle shifters. The RC F also features 15 inch slotted Brembo brake discs with 6 piston calipers. It gets F Adaptive varable suspension with 30 levels of damping.

On the exterior the Lexus RC F features a large grille, now a Lexus trademark with spindle design. There are LED headlamps with LED daytime running lamps and LED tail lamps along with 20 inch alloy wheels. There are quad exhaust pipes in the rear bumper. The RC F also features a electronically operated rear spoiler that rises when the car reaches a speed of 80 kph.

The cabin of the Lexus RC F features leather sports seats with F embossing on the head rests. They comes with heating and ventilation function. Other features include dual zone climate control, ambient lighting, aluminium pedals and sport steering wheel. The RC F comes with eight airbags as standard.
