Lexus has finally announced prices for the LX450d SUV. The LX450d is priced at Rs. 2.32 crore ex showroom Delhi. This puts it directly against the Range Rover

The Lexus LX450d features a 4.5 litre V8 diesel developing 269 horsepower and 650 Nm torque. It comes mated to a six speed automatic gearbox and features four wheel drive. Though it is based on the Land Ceuiser, the LX450d gets a whole bunch of features that includes four zone climate control, dual screens for the infotainment system for rear passengers and a 19-speaker Mark Levinson surround sound system. The LX450d is available in a 5 seater configuration only.

The LX570 petrol is expected to be launched at a later date. The Lexus India line up also includes the Es300h sedan and the RX450h mid size SUV.
