Lexus LS500h launched in India at Rs. 1.77 crore
The Lexus LS500h has been officially launched in India. This is the fifth generation of the luxury sedan
The LS500h features the trademark spindle grille. The new LS is based on GA-L platform, has a low center of gravity and shows great improvements in handling departments. The LS500h is 5235mm long, 1900 mm wide. The other highlights include LED headlamps, soft door close function, air suspension and 20-inch alloy wheels with Bridgestone run flat tires.
The Lexus LS500h is powered by a 3.5-Litre V6. Combined with two electric motors, total power output is 354bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Lexus offers the world’s first Multi Stage Hybrid system, which supplies power to the wheels using a 10-speed automatic transmission. The LS500h hits a ton in 5.4 seconds.
On the interior, it gets Origami hand pleats, Kiriko cut glass to interior lighting, laser cut woodwork. The seats are plush, can be adjusted in 28 different ways with heated and massage option, a super sounding 2400W, 23-Speaker system by Mark & Levinson. The new LS offers a best in class high definition HUD measuring 24 inches and a 12.3” infotainment screen.
The Lexus LS500h will be available in India from April 2018 onwards. It will be available in three trim levels: Luxury (Rs 1.77 Crore), Ultra Luxury (Rs 1.82 Crore) and Distinct (Rs 1.93 Crore). All prices are ex-showroom India.
