Land Rover has unveiled the Discovery Sport Dynamic at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
This range topping variant of the Discovery Sport features Narvik Black exterior details, body-coloured mouldings and door claddings and the choice of a unique new 19″ wheel design in Satin Dark Grey, or a 20″ Gloss Black alloy wheel. A new added feature is the All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) for 2016. ATPC is an advanced system that enables drivers to set and maintain a steady speed in off-road conditions. Developed by Land Rover’s all-terrain specialists, ATPC functions similarly to a cruise control system, operational between 2 km/h and 30 km/h. The system adapts the vehicle’s behaviour according to the terrain, allowing even novice users the control of an expert off-road driver. ATPC also comes with a dedicated Launch feature, allowing the vehicle to pull away smoothly and easily, even on problematic low-friction surfaces like ice, snow or wet grass.
The Discovery Sport also gets the Gesture Tailgate feature. This provides the user with the ability to open and close the powered tailgate by means of a kick gesture, enabling the user hands-free access to the load space.
The Discovery Sport Dynamic is currently available internationally but will come to Indian shores in due course of time
