Lamborghini has delivered 3,245 cars worldwide in the year 2015 achieving a new sales record for the car maker. This is the first time that the company has crossed 3,000 units in a year.
Lamborghini has 135 dealers across 50 countries and deliveries have gone up from 2,530 to 3,245 units in 2015, showing a growth of 28% compared to 2014 and 2.5 times the sales of the year 2010.
Lamborghini sold 2,242 units of the Huracan in its first year of availability. Sales figures of the Huracán in the first 18 months after launch were up by 70% compared to its predecessor, the Gallardo, in the same period after market launch. Total sales for the Aventador LP 700-4, in both coupe and roadster, and the new Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce, totalled 1,003 units.
Lamborghini launched four new models in 2015: Aventador SV coupe and roadster, the Huracan LP610-4 Spyder and the Huracan LP580-2.
“In 2015 Lamborghini delivered an exceptional sales performance and new records in all key business figures*, confirming the strength of our brand, product and commercial strategy. With the introduction of several new models in 2015 and a solid order bank we are well prepared for the year 2016,” said Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. “We increased sales in all our major regions with new sales records in America and Asia Pacific,” continued Winkelmann. “Our biggest markets are the USA and Greater China. They are followed by Japan, UK, the Middle East and Germany, each of them registering considerable growth in 2015.”
Lamborghini has presence in three Indian cities with dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.
