Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Pirelli Edition: A closer look
Lamborghini launched the Aventador LP700-4 Pirelli Edition earlier this year to celebrate the long and ongoing history of the Raging Bull with the Italian tyre manufacturer. Lamborghini and Pirelli have been working together since 1963, the year in which Lamborghini was formed. Since then, all Lamborghinis come equipped with Pirelli tyres as standard.
So what’s special in the Pirelli Edition? The exterior gets a two tone colour scheme in two options. The first is matteblack for the roof, the pillars, the rearview mirrors, the engine hood, and the front, rear, side and moving air in takes, in contrast with six glossy finishes for the rest of the body (Giallo Spica, Rosso Mars, Bianco Isis, Nero Aldebaran, Grigio Liqueo, and Grigio Ater). The second option is glossy black for the upper parts of the car and the air intakes, in contrast with four matte finishes for the rest of the exterior (Bianco Canopus, Nero Nemesis, Grigio Adamas, and Grigio Titans).
Mechanically the Aventador remains unchanged. It comes with a V12 engine putting out 691 bhp which takes it from 0 to 100 kph in 2,9 seconds and has a top speed of 350kph.
The Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition is avilable in coupe and roadster forms and is a limited Edition model
