Korean Automaker Kia recently announced the name of its soon to launch SUV, putting speculations to rest. The car is called the Seltos, an adaptation of the word Celtos, a mythical Greek legend.
The Kia Seltos, which was recently seen shooting for commercials, is their debut vehicle on Indian soil. The car has already grabbed eyeballs because of its radical styling and speculated features on offer based on what was seen in the spy shots. Earlier this year, Kia has taken a poll for choosing a suitable name for the car, with Trailster and Tusker being the options.
The Seltos is slated for a global unveil on June 20th from India, where it will be manufactured for sales across the globe. The official launch is purported to be in the following months.
The Seltos is positioned in the mid SUV segment and goes up against the likes of Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta and Renault Captur.
