The Kia Seltos has recorded sales of 12,850 units in the month of October 2019. The car maker has delivered over 40,000 units since its August 2019 launch and has over 86,840 bookings. These numbers have made Kia the 4th largest auto maker in India with just one model in the portfolio.
Kia is ramping up the production of the most sought after trims the DCT and Diesel Auto to reduce the waiting period.
The Seltos powered by three engines comprising of a 1.5L petrol, 1.5L diesel and a 1.4L turbo petrol. They feature four transmission options which include a 7-speed DCT, IVT, 6-speed AT and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
he Kia Seltos is feature-loaded with many segment-first options such as a smart air purifier with 3 fragrances, a 360-degree parking assistance camera with blind-spot monitoring, an 8-inch smart heads up display, various driving modes, ventilated seats and rear sunshade curtain, an 8-speaker Bose sound system and a connected car feature called UVO with over 30 built-in functions.
