Jaguar Land Rover India as launched the XJ50 to celebrate 50 years of the luxury limousine. The XJ50 is a special edition model and is priced at Rs. 1.11 crore ex showroom.

The XJ50 is available in the long wheelbase. On the exterior it gets Autobiography front and rear bumpers, chrome radiator grille with chrome surrounds, XJ50 badging on the rear and side vents and 19 inch alloy wheels. Exterior paint options include Fuji White, Santorini Black, Loire Blue and Rosello Red.

On the interior, the XJ50 gets soft-grain diamond-quilted seats with an embossed leaping cat on the headrests and an XJ50 logo on the centre armrest. There is unique intaglio branding and XJ50-badged illuminated tread plates. Other features include anodised gearshift paddles and bright metal pedals.

Power comes from a 3.0 litre V6 diesel that develops 300 horsepower and 689 Nm of torque. It goes from 0 to 100 kph in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kph. The engine comes mated to an automatic gearbox.
