Jaguar India has commenced bookings for the F-Type SVR in India. The F-Type SVR is priced from Rs. 2.65 crore ex showroom India.

The F-Type SVR has been developed by the Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations team. It is powered by a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 petrol engine that develops 567 horsepower and a whopping 700 Nm of torque. Jaguar claims a 0 to 100 kph timing of 3.7 seconds. The F-Type SVR has a top speed of 322 kph.

The car comes with SVR performance seats. They use a light weight magnesium construction that helps in weight reduction by 8 kg. It also features a Titanium and Inconel exhaust system that saves 16 kg and the forged 20 inch alloy wheels save another 13.8 kg. The SVR also uses a new, larger rear bearing that results in increased stiffness of up to 37 % higher than the standard F-TYPE rear knuckles. Other features include a V-Max mode that allows you to push the F-Type SVR to the limit. The Pirelli P-Zero tyres are 10 mm wider than those on the standard F-Type.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR will be available in both coupe and convertible versions and will be sold as a CBU.
