These are first pictures of the Jaguar F-Pace spied testing on public roads. There had been rumours of the model doing the rounds since a while now.
The test mule features full camouflage but a beefed up body is visible in the photos. Also seen are large alloy wheels finished in matte black.
The Jaguar F-Pace is expected to be powered by the same 5.0 litre supercharged engine that does duty in the Range Rover Sport SVR and the Jaguar F-Type SVR. This motor puts out 550 horsepower. Sources say that the existing V6 could be retuned to put out 500 horses but Jaguar is expected to go all out with a full blown V8.
The Jaguar F-Pace SVR is expected to make its world debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
