Honda has announced the the lineup of model that will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2016.

After being discontinued in India, the Accord is making a return to our showrooms in its 9th generation avtaar. The new car will be offered in both petrol and hybrid versions and will be sold as a CBU. Therefore it is expected to be priced higher than the locally assemble Toyota Camry. The hybrid Accord should be benefit from the FAME scheme in India. You can also expect the new car to come with the same performance, space and reliability that the Accord is known for.brv3

The Honda BR-V compact SUV will be shown for the first time at the 2016 Auto Expo and is sure  to gather a lot of of interest. The BR-V is based on the same platform as the Brio, Amaze and the Mobilio. It shares the same wheelbase as the Mobilio MPV. It will be powered by the same 1.5 litre petrol and diesel motors that are seen in other models in the Honda stable. The petrol BR-Vis also like to come with a segment first CVT automatic gearbox. The CVT gearbox has been developed specifically by Honda for the BR-V using the company’s Earth Dreams technology.honda 2&4Honda is also bringing the 2&4 concept to the Auto Expo 2016. The 2&4 concept was created as part of a competition between Honda’s design studios and will combine the “freedom of a motorcycle” with “the manoeuvrability of a car.” The styling is inspired from the 1965 RA272 and has a basic but sporty design. The car is equipped with a floating seat which was designed to put the “driver as close to the action as possible”. Power comes from a modified version of Honda’s RC213V competition motorcycle engine. The 999c V4 cylinder engine develops more than 215 horsepower and 118 Nm torque . The engine is mated to a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the concept weighs only 405 kg.

Other cars that will be displayed at the Expo are the Jazz Racing Concept, Honda Goldwing motorcycle, McLaren Honda MP4-30 and ASIMO.mp430
