Ford has launched two new variants of the Ecosport compact SUV, the Ecosport S and the Ecosport Signature Edition.
The Ecosport S sees the return of the 1.0 three cylinder turbo petrol Ecoboost engine. This motor develops 1125 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque. The S variant is also offered with the popular 1.5 litre diesel engine that puts out 100 horsepower.
The Ecosport S comes with a number of new features. These include a sunroof, smoked HID headlamps, black grille, black roof and roof rails along with 17 inch alloy wheels. On the interior, it comes with orange accents on the seats, a bigger 4.2 inch digital instrument cluster and tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Signature Edition of the Ecosport features a new front grille with chrome inserts, diamond cut 17 inch alloy wheels, black fog lamp bezel, all round graphics, a rear spoiler and roof rails. On the interior it gets blue accents on the seat stitching, centre console and instrument cluster. The Signature Edition will also get a sunroof.
Engine options on the Signature Edition include the 100 horsepower 1.5 litre diesel and the 1.5 litre 3 cylinder petrol putting out 123 horses.
