Fiat has launched the Abarth Punto Evo and Abarth Avventura in India at a price of Rs. 9.95 lakh for both models ex showroom Delhi.
In terms of looks the Abarth Punto Evo gets 16 inch Scorpion alloy wheels, all round disc brakes, Abarth graphics on the side and Abarth logos in place of Fiat logos on the car. Interiors get new seats with rd and yellow stitching, sporty pedals, auto climate control, ambient lighting and the Abarth logo on the steering. While the Abarth Avventura gets similar interiors, the exteriors from the standard car are only differentiated by the Scorpion alloys and stickering on the doors..
Power comes from a 1.4 litre T-Jet petrol engine that develops 145 bhp and 212 Nm torque in the Abarth Punto Evo and 140 bhp in the Abarth Avventura. The engine is mated to a five speed manual geabox and the car has a front wheel drive layout. Ground clearance on the Abarth Punto Evo is 155 mm which is lower than its standard cousin. The Abarth Punto Evo goes from 0 to 100 kph in 8.8 seconds while the Abarth Avventura takes 9.9 seconds for the same. Both cars come equipped with dual airbags, ABS and EBD as safety features.
The Abarth Punto Evo is available in two colours: Hip Hop Black and Pearl White.
