Details of the BS 6 diesel engine powered Hyundai Elantra have surfaced. The model has been listed on the car maker’s website prior to its market launch i the near future.

The Elantra will get a 1.5 litre BS 6 compliant diesel engine putting out 115 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The engine will come mated to a 6 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic gearbox.

The Elantra diesel will be available in two variants :– SX and SX(O). The SX comes only in manual, while the SX(O) will only be available with the automatic gearbox.

The feature list of the Hyundai Elantra include dual zone climate control, auto headlamps, 8.0 inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, cruise control, six airnags,Blue Link connected car tech etc. The range topping SX(O) gets a powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, LED headlamps, wireless phone charger, leatherette upholstery and front parking sensors.
