Chevrolet has launched the Trailblazer SUV in India at a price of Rs. 26.40 lakh ex showroom Delhi. The Trailblazer replaces the Captiva in the Indian market. It will be sold as a CBU imported from Thailand
The Trailblazer is the first proper SUV from the Chevrolet stable for the Indian market. The seven seater SUV comes with features like projector headlamps, ceiling-mounted rear AC controls with four vents for the second- and third-row seats, a 7-inch touchscreen, the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system and Siri Eyes Free for Apple users, six speaker sound system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted audio controls and cruise control.
The Trailblazer is powered by a 2.8 litre four cylinder turbo diesel engine developing 197 bhp and 500 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a six speed automatic gearbox and the SUV comes in rear wheel drive form only. Ground clearance is a healthy 253 mm.
Safety features include dual air bags, electronic stability control (ESC), anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), cornering brake control (CBC), hill start assist (HSA), hill descent control (HDC), traction control system (TCS), panic brake assist (PBA) and hydraulic brake assist (HBA).
The Trailblazer can be booked on Amazon.in from 21st to 25th October 2015 with a booking amount of Rs. 25,000.
