Bugatti Veyron successor to be called ‘Chiron’
Work has already begun on the successor to the mighty Bugatti Veyron and reports say that the new car will be called the ‘Chiron’ . The test mules are already being spotted testing and here are some more details on this hypercar.
Bugatti will stick to the same 8.0 litre W16 engine with power output on the other side of 1500 horses that will enable the Chiron to achieve performance figures which the company claims will shame some Formula 1 cars. Maximum torque will be 1,500 Nm just as it was on the Veyron Super Sport. Bugatti is reported to be making the car more useable, one that you can drive daily and the engine is expected to get e-turbos, direct injection and cylinder deactivation.
The Bugatti Veyron replacement will go from 0 to 100 kph in 2 seconds and top speed is expected to be 463 kph.
Bugatti will launch the new Chiron hypercar in 2016
