BMW X1 M on the cards
BMW is planning an X1 M according to a piece of news given to Motoring magazine by a source in the company.
If the car gets a green light, it could be more powerful than the current range topping xDrive 2.5i which uses a 2.0 litre turbo charged engine putting out 231 horsepower. The X1 M is likely to develop around 300 horses and will come with all the goodies that an M car usually gets like a sporty body kit, quad exhausts, larger brakes, sportier suspension etc.
If approved for production, the BMW X1 M wont be launched anytime before 2017.
